Meet Oral Surgeon Dr. Scott
Hamburg native, Dr. Patrick V. Scott, graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Biology from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. He earned his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 1993 and his M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) in 1997 at the University at Buffalo. The six year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery included a one year internship in General Surgery. Dr. Scott completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as the Chief Resident at the University at Buffalo in 2000.
Dr. Scott designed and built his own Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Office in Orchard Park, NY and started treating patients at the facility in January 2001. He continues to maintain the one practice in the Southtowns. Dr. Scott is a Volunteer Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Scott has over 20 years of experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Office Based Anesthesia. He is on staff at Kaleida Health and the Erie County Medical Center. He continues to work with the residents and often allows dental students to shadow him at the office.
Dr. Scott is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He continues to broaden his education and has over 1000 hours of continuing education credit.
Dr. Scott and his wife, Gabrielle, have three boys. He continues to remain active in the community as a volunteer football coach at Hamburg Little Loop, official at New York State ski races, and timing official at high school lacrosse games.
